This year we are offering internships in a remote format for students from Europe.

You will have the opportunity to join our Research Department and carry out research work together with an experienced mentor. You will develop new algorithms in Kernel/ User Space mode to improve the performance or reliability of our product XIRAID – a software RAID engine. Although it works with all types of storage devices, xiRAID really shines when deployed together with NVMe® or NVMe-oF™ devices. xiRAID is the only software solution in the market capable of driving up to 97% of raw device performance in a computationally heavy RAID configuration, while maintaining a very modest load on the host CPU and low memory footprint.

Our solution used in High Performance Computing sites, Postproduction and broadcasting installations in Media & Entertainment, Edge Computing and supported by our partners worldwide. We constantly research new technologies and working together with R&D teams at Intel, Western Digital, ATTO and many others. Mathematicians, system programmers and system engineers dreaming to solve complicated tasks and join ambitious team are welcome.

We make your internship as comfortable as possible

  • The internship will take place in a remote format.
  • You will be given a research topic and expected results.
  • You will be assigned a mentor who will advise you on everything.
  • Your workload during your placement will be from 20 hours per week.
  • The internship will last 6 months and will be paid.
  • At the end of your internship you might get a job offer.

The following skills will help you be successful on the job

  • Development Experience with C.
  • Knowledge of Linux.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Linux Kernel.
  • Basic knowledge of RAID, storage system.
  • Experience with Python/Bash.
