Installing

To install xiRAID Classic 4.1.0:

1. Run the installation script installer.sh, which is located in the archive with program packages.

   # ./installer.sh

   During its run, the script will do the following:

   1. Ask you to accept the terms of the license agreement.

      You will see the text of the agreement on your screen.

      Input “no” cancels the update.

   2. Ask you to confirm the installation of xiRAID Classic.

      Input “no” cancels the update.

   3. Check the presence of the required packages.
   4. Install the required dependencies from the repositories (to learn more, see the document xiRAID Classic 4.1.0 System Requirements).
   5. Install binary packages (DEB or RPM).

   6. Ask to start the xiRAID Classic services.

      Input “no” doesn’t cancel the update. xiRAID Classic services start automatically after the system reboot (after the step 2).

2. Reboot the system:

   # reboot
